You are Lord Rama’s messenger, the abode of immeasurable strength, and are named Pavansut (Son of the Wind) and Anjani’s son.

O Hanuman, mighty and valiant, you are the remover of wickedness and a companion to goodness.

Your golden complexion and splendid attire are adorned with earrings and curly hair.

Holding a mace and banner, you wear the sacred thread on your shoulder.

You are the incarnation of Shiva and the son of Kesari. Your immense splendor is revered throughout the world.

You are virtuous, wise, and exceedingly clever. You are ever eager to perform Lord Rama’s tasks.

You delight in hearing the stories of the Lord, and Rama, Lakshmana, and Sita dwell in your heart.

Assuming a small form, you appeared before Sita. Taking a fierce form, you destroyed Lanka.

In a colossal form, you killed demons and accomplished the task of Lord Rama.

You brought the Sanjeevani herb to revive Lakshmana, delighting Lord Rama, who embraced you joyfully.

Lord Rama praised you highly, saying, “You are as dear to me as my brother Bharata.”

You helped Sugriva by introducing him to Lord Rama, thus restoring his kingdom.

Vibhishana followed your advice and became the king of Lanka, recognized everywhere for his virtue.

You leaped across the vast ocean, swallowing the sun, mistaking it for a sweet fruit.

Carrying Lord Rama’s ring in your mouth, you crossed the ocean easily.

All difficult tasks in the world are made simple by your grace.

You guard the doors of Lord Rama’s court, preventing entry without permission.

By seeking your refuge, one enjoys all happiness, with no fear of obstacles.

Your immense power can subdue the greatest of adversities. The three worlds tremble at your roar.
